By accessing or using Cleo ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Cleo is a productivity application designed to help users manage their screen time and focus by blocking selected applications during designated focus sessions.

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

To use certain features of the App, you must create an account. You may register using:

Email and password
Sign in with Apple

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

3.3 Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time through the App's Settings. Account deletion will:

Permanently remove your account from our systems
Delete all personal data associated with your account
Remove your focus session history and app groups
Cannot be undone or reversed

4. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

Provide accurate and current information
Not use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
Not interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

5. Screen Time Permissions

The App requires Screen Time permissions to function. By granting these permissions, you authorize the App to:

Access your Screen Time data
Block selected applications during focus sessions
Monitor app usage for session management

6. Intellectual Property

The App and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Awaken Labs and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

7. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

9. Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL AWAKEN LABS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Awaken Labs operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
